Fresnel technology Nikkors

Nikons two lenses using Fresnel optical technology are both wonderful fast focussing and really lightweight lenses. They have been at the heart of our bird photography in various types of wheather and available light during many years already.

Astonishing detail at 27meter distance! Holland Aug 2020 sun Kingfisher (IJsvogel), size 17cm, equivalent 1500mm Z50 Nikkor 500mm f/5.6E PF VR substantial camouflage. Crop 2600 x 1700. Sand mountain background result 24 hours digging nest corridor and nest by couple.

Nikkor 500mm f/5.6E PF VR ED (1450 gram) not cheap but definitely worth its price (possibly some years saving):
