Up to june 2026, we shot some 8.000 pictures of birds, local flora, fauna and landscapes in subsequently Hungary, Poland, Greece, Spain, Portugal, France, Morocco, Israel and Holland, using Nikon DSLR camera’s D100, D300, D500, mirrorless camera’s V1, V3, Z50 and Z7 II in combination with Nikkor lenses or applying digiscoping with Swarovski telescopes STMHD80 or STMHD50.

Lately we not of the time use our favourite 1450 gram Nikkor 500mm f/5.6E PF VR with our “secret weapon”, top quality converter Nikkor TC-20E III to get a luxurous 1500mm 35mm equivalent particularly welcome when photographing small birds far away.
