Blue Rock Thrush (Blauwe Rotslijster): Rather rare shy bird. Almost always near rocks. Photographed in Lesbos and Extremadura Spain.


Rufus Bushchat (Rosse Waaierstaart): Shy. Starts breeding at Lesbos end april. Spreading tail in strong wind.

Starling (Spreeuw): beautiful energetic bird, often in groups or algorithm-controlled spectacularly coordinated moving large “clouds” of birds.

Bluethroat( Blauwborst): Shy. Back in Holland april, starts breeding end april. Nest usually in low bush or at ground and preferably near fresh water. Sings beautifully. Photogrpic tip: spreads light-red-orange tail in strong wind.

Fan-tailed Warbler (Graszanger): Man may have more than one wife at the time. Like a little acrobat in bushes and between branches. Shy but not very shy.


Aquatic Warbler( Waterrietzanger): Rare bird in Poland bu also in Holland. The great reach (bereik) of our Nikon V3 was extremely welcome in this specia; case. We got but a few seconds the bird was visible and singing at he edge of the reed land.

Sedge Warbler (Rietzanger): Beautiful and very active bird flying up and down in his reed territory.

Great Reedwarbler) (Grote Karekiet): Rare bird in Holland.

Whitethroat (Grasmus): common bird in Holland rather shy.

Subalpine Warbler (Baardgrasmus): Very shay and rather rare Photographed at Lesbos and Israel.
Dartford Warbler (Provencaalse Grasmus): Very shy and very rare . Photographed at Lesbos and oin Alenteejo Portugal
Sardinian Warbler (Kleine Zwartkop): Common bird. And photograpjed In Algarve and Lesbos.
