Beatiful birds. Offically they belong to the Thrushes (Lijsters) but have quite unique behaviour. For instance they may breed in rabbit holes. They have different subspecies and quite astonishing appearances. Their tail usually has a striking white mark shaped as character “T”, at best visible in flight.
