Holland May 2024 cloudy Kingfisher (IJsvogel) 45m mating during build second nest 2024. D500 Nikkor 300mm f/5.6E PF VR f/8 equivalent 900mm – 0.5EV. Kingfisher breeds March through September and has up to three nests. More info about Kingfishers behaviour at birding/birds/common birds. Unfortunately our Nikkor 500mm f/5.6E PF VR was not available at the time, however our Phase Fresnel Nikkor 300mm PF VR delivered quite well also. Hoping for another opportunity next year.
