In this section we will show pictures using one of the following:
A top quality lightweight Nikkor telelens like Nikkor 300mm F/4E PF VR or Nikkor 500mm F/5.6E PF VR
A famous oldtimer Nikkor 300mm F/4D (non-VR but delivering excellent detail)
A fast (“reporters”) lens suitable for photographing large birds nearby and or bird action: Nikkor F/2.8 70-200mmVR.
Two telescopes Nikon ED82 and SwarovskiSTMHD80 in combination with a high quality digicompact like Panasonic mirrioless G3 or Nikon mirrorless V1 for so called digiscoping, picking up the output of a telescope into by a high quality digicompact, for example when photographing small birds far away.
